AMSTERDAM PENTHOUSE

Two perfect worlds colide here, with the history of the four hundred year-old Amsterdam canals and the luxury of a contemporary penthouse that was built atop two adjacent period properties. The panoramic view over the old city is astounding. The resident, a young guy who works in IT and likes to cook and deejay in his spare time, can indulge himself in the tailor-made kitchen unit (made from backlit with onyx).

The kitchen unit blends seamlessly into a professional DJ turntable section, connecting the living and dining area of the loft. A section of the wall is made of rock crystal. The bedroom, bathroom and guestroom are joined together, with sliding doors that open and close when you approach. All of the furniture in the penthouse was made-to-measure in Indonesia and brought into the apartment using an enormous crane.
