In this classic villa, situated in the heart of the woods, a sense of nature has been incorporated into the structure’s interior. Through the use of materials that are particulary strong and natural and hues that are soft, almost faded, the interior is a natural extension of its outdoor surroundings.

A broad natural stone plinth surrounding the house, which also serves as a patio, connects the two. Two tailored textured walls in the various spaces are made using strips of Dutch oak. The five open fireplaces and the scattered pieces of minerals, fossils and stones enhance the interaction between interior and exterior.
